Plenty of us are still training hard into our 40s, 50s and beyond, and it's great to see. But most people find they have to train a bit smarter as the years go on.

Let's share what's working. A few things to get the conversation started:

  • Training: have you changed your split, volume or exercise choices to look after your joints?
  • Recovery: how much more sleep, rest days or mobility work do you need now?
  • Nutrition: have you upped your protein or changed how you eat around training?
  • Health checks: do you get regular check-ups or bloodwork with your doctor to keep an eye on things?
  • Mindset: how have your goals changed – strength, longevity, staying active for your family?

Tell us your age bracket, how long you've been training and one thing you'd tell your younger self. As always, share experiences rather than medical advice – and speak to your doctor before making big changes.
